Is it hard to get rid of bad habits such as Judging others??? I try my best to fix myself. In Gods eyes, judging other is grave. Or Gossiping, which I think is a version of Judgement.
SO I was listening to the Sheikh about the Story of Nabi Yusuf pbuh
The story of a seduction attempt. Allaah swt mentions things selectively according to his supreme knowledge & Wisdom in the Quran. In the story, the wife of a governor attempted to seduce a breath taking handsome Prophet Yusuf pbuh. The woman finally was caught by her husband in her chasing the teenage Nabi. She was not punished in the Quran. God was not harsh on the act of this woman. It was a lustful act. But do you know who got punished? The women of the town who gossiped and judge the wife of the governor. So the governess came up with an idea. To invite the women to her home and then let Prophet Yusuf pbuh walk in front of them while they had knives on their hands peeling apples. In the Quran, it explicitly says--the women cut their hands and bled while admiring the beauty of the prophet.
So this tells me, this lustful woman who attempted to seduce the young prophet, was not punished but was given the opportunity to embarrass those women who were laughing at her. An opportunity to punish others for laughing and judging her.
The moral of the story is : Dont judge human's mistake. Just either pray that u dont make that mistake or say nothing.
Also, any sort of pride is bad. Even people who murder their families in all these dateline investigation shows on TV, NEVER say I am not able to murder someone. You dont know. Period.
