It’s not just different methods but also the amounts of samples are different. For example there are more HA on the FTDNA tree vs the Yfull one which is why FTDNA gives us a 750 ybp vs yfull’s 950 ybp. I think for Somali Ts there seems to be more samples available on yfull’s tree![]()

They use different methods to calculate them. I'm not an expert but I assume both are well accepted and seem to be legit, so I don't know.
