They are not looking for public support. They are mercenary dogs let loose on us by the Ethiopian government to kill and maim as many Somalis as possible, and most importantly to sabotage any new government in order to demoralize the Somali people. There's no indication whatsoever that tthey are ethiopian mercenaries. Are you seriously suggesting that Mukhtar Robbow and his likes are on Ethiopian payroll? Whether we like it or not, AS does have a broad support from the people in some areas in the south, especially in the capital.

How come Al Shabab has never attacked Ethiopia? They have threatened to bomb shopping malls in the West but they have never crossed the border and attacked Ethiopian military positions like they have done in Uganda and Kenya multiple times. Al Shabab carry out very well planned attacks in Kenyan military bases and schools and shopping malls. Al Shabab attacks Ethiopia's competitors.

They claimed to have killed dozens of Ethiopians over the summer but never provided evidence. Even if they did, it was ordered by the Ethiopians

The foreign AS conspiracies are absurd. But so are the ones that try to tie AS to qabil. They have sympathizers in all Somali territories. The South is simply the easiest environment for them to operate. Refusing to acknowledge this is also conspiracy.
