My take on the concept of marriage

I have always struggled with the concept of marriage and the meaning behind it whether is through the lenses of secular or religious angle.

The concept is marriage is mostly glorified by the poor and the middle class in most cases.. the upper class (my class) and the well off don’t actually see the concept of marriage that much of an important issue, But for the poor and the middle class marriage is a way of finding love , children and sexual pleasure.

The upper class or a well off person doesn’t not have to marry to find love, sexual pleasure and even get children as the options are way too many outside marriage for example well off guy can get any woman without even marriage involved. Marriage from religious angle promotes leeching culture that makes the women lazy and depend on men.

Marriage from religious angle is bad and promotes for women to be leeches?

The idea that marriage promotes for women to be leeches and that women shouldn't be housewives is part of feminism.

The rich don't believe in true love?

Even more incentive to eat the rich!
Some probably do but the rich and the upper class are not so such much fixated about marriage and their love does not depend on it... the point here is the more income you have the less you see the value of marriage as your options increase.

If feminism says women shouldn’t stay home and they should be independent and get their source of income how does that promote leeching?

But Meher promotes leeching and entitlement culture for a bimbo to have the audacity to ask for $20-50k when she is not even qualified or hardly brings anything to the table.

Are you questioning Islam? Who are any of us to question what Islam has ruled?

Furthermore you have again misrepresented what I am saying.

You have laid out a feminist viewpoint.

The idea that housewives are leeches is part of feminism. It is feminism that taught that women should go outside the home and work and that housewives are leeches.

I understand what you are saying but I think your views are biased because you fail to see that issues aren't black and white as they seem.

African Americans are known to be pretty loose and don't really settle down hence why the phase 'babby momma/daddy' was created yet a large portion of these people are not married and are poor so I don't see your point.

There is no correlation between wealth and likelihood to marry.

Not like I research random stuff like this but there probably is.

You’re actually supporting my argument unknowing.. here is why

If you look in the AA community 100-50 years ago when they were much poorer and they had high value for marriage... but ever since their income wealth has increased tremendously the last 50 years though still in the poverty range the marriage concept has been dying slowly

Your flimsy logic is laughable. Whites and Asians have higher incomes and higher rates of marriage than AA.

So you've struggled with the concept of true love, familial stability, permissible sex, and a solid long-term relationship? I've been telling you guys something's up here with this one.

If you look at any community you'll see that marriage rates have decreased sharply over time. Much more to do with liberalization than anything else. Terrible argument.

I honestly think it's more to do with society moving away from it's judeo-christian values which highly valued marriage.

Listen to me lads this man over here has some sort of an agenda. He's always arguing against Islamic tradition. Makes me wonder if he's even Muslim sometimes.

Not true at all, take for instance the Scandinavian countries where marriage has any hardly significant meaning and you will people in the mid 40’s living together without marriage while on the on the other hard poor southern states in america marriage is highly regarded as sacred

Again you conveniently ignored the fact that the South's quite Christian.
