My past experiences with arabs makes it really hard to sympathize with Palestine

Like the title suggests, I live in a city that has the most arabs in Canada and when I say I have never experienced racism from caadans but always from arabs as recently as yesterday and I can understand Arabic so I think a lot of Somalis are ignorant to their true personality because they hide behind a facade a lot of the time. But when I was younger in middle school they would verbally and physically harass me and sexualize my body, it got so bad a group of girls literally cornered me and beat me up for no reason and the Somalis at the school never participated but decided to be bystanders. Soon after my mom learned about everything and the school literally did nothing so she took me to Africa with her, I also had a family member who went ‘missing’ in Lebanon and to this day we think she’s dead because she mentioned how abusive her employers are.

Literally the worst people in the world, idk why the Muslim ummah blindly follows them and thinks that’s what true Islam is. So when I see Somalis supporting and crying for Palestine it really does disgust me, I understand the hatred for yahuud and feeling sympathy but when arabs have a problem everyone has to drop what they’re doing and support. What happened to the ughyurs who are being equally oppressed by Chinese atheists? Where are there protests? Where is the outrage? I know it’s wrong to feel this way but at the end of the day these people wouldn’t piss on your leg if you were on fire so why cry for them? Why protest and chant for them when they call you Abeed everyday?

idk I guess this is a rant but I feel like the truth of the matter is the reason people haven’t opposed the situation and most people are supporting is because the world chooses who to support based on how light that person is and who to harass and belittle based on how dark they are.

f*ck the Arabs but I put my pride to the side when it comes to matters like this. I could give 0 fucks about Gaza and everywhere else, my only concern is masjid al-aqsa. You have right to feel the way you do but it could also end up being dangerous as well.

I'm really sorry to hear about your experiences & hope you're able to heal. Personally, I've only ever had good experiences with Arabs but completely agree with you on putting ourselves first as every community does, but it never hurts to extend our empathy a bit (it's not a limited resource). With that said, I'll never go overboard and wail for their state like I've seen some cringy folks pull on social media.

I can say that I have never experienced racism from an Arab before but there's definitely a certain vibe I felt from them on different occasions. I can say that the North Africans that I've meet have been pretty chill tho.

The owner of Karmel Mall in Minnesota (biggest Somali mall) is owned by a Palestinian a he’s a very bad person. He sexually harasses the women, drinks a lot, wants to destroy the masjid for more space to open more stores (greedy with money), he’s tryna get $6,000 out of each person for no reason, their are some electrical issues that he won’t fix

it's not kids just being kids. even if you're a kid you should know to not bully someone physically or verbally. wtf is that bs. who taught those kids to physically abuse someone :what:
