Because besides Christmas and Halloween (which is debated by some) they are all cultural festivals and thus not religious in nature. So how could they be haraam? It doesn't make sense to me. And please quote scholars other than Najdi ones....

Valentine’s Day is an annual holiday. We only have two annual holidays. Besides, it’s also another way of imitating the kuffar. We should be more discerning on who we follow and imitate. Why is it that some Muslims fall for marketing and societal pressure this much?

We’ll have to agree to disagree. As there is ikhtilaaf on this issue. But to add to your comment. Does the average person connect the supposed Saint Valentine to Valentines day as of today? From what I’ve seen no and it is thus a cultural festival at this point.
But let me be clear lol. I don’t celebrate it myself. I just don’t think you should label things as Haraam so easily. It pushes people away from Islam and discourages new reverts.

All Muslims have celebrated Valentine's Day in some manner. They all had to make Valentine's Day cards and give chocolates.
Well yeah, maybe in a 100 years, 500 years or even 1000 years. But that day isn’t today and it is up to ulamah to decide on a micro level within a community and not on a macro level for the entire ummah. Christmas definitely still holds a religious connotation. Halloween is a bit iffy, as the origin being linked with paganism is widely discussed. At least here in Europe. I’m not sure about the US. But valentines day from what I’ve seen is universally not promoted within any religion as of today. Thus my main argument being it is cultural and not religious and so the Sharia doesn’t even make a ruling on it.
