I’m really not old bro. I grew up with both colored and black and white manga. Manga is mainly not colored because it is meant for physically reading while manhwas are newer and almost always digital. They rarely colored it back then because it would be expensive to do so.

the main theme on Korean BL manhwas is either based on adult + minors, Sexual harassment& abuse, and or Rape. The most popular Korean BL manhwas have these theme written on them. Koreans also don’t care about BL since they don’t like lgbt people and they don’t read manhwas, they read Mangas translated in Korean.

The Japanese have a better wide selection of BL manga, from shounen, to shounen so to Yaoi. It isn’t coloured because it used to be expensive af in the past and manga would lose its aesthetic like that.

MANHWA is also badly written and badly coloured. They have no heart fluttering scenes no it goes straight to raping or harassing the victim yuck
