I don't see anything wrong with requesting more prayer space. I also don't see anything wrong with having the sisters manage the affairs of the sisters, and having the brothers manage the affairs of the brothers. And all things in between can be mixed. None of this seems like an issue for me tbh.

Women should be involved in the running of mosques. I remember going to the womens section with my mum when I was little and the place looked like a warehouse lol, even the fans weren't working. Some masjids seem to have been collecting donations for renovations for as long as I can remember, there is no excuse for there to be less services available for women. Less villas in Somalia and more investments in the community from the directors is needed :siilaanyolaugh:

Most women don't go mosque to pray? Only on eid so? I don't understand what they are demanding most of these women pray at home they only Complain when they go to the mosque for eid prayer.

Women should pray at home as it is not mandatory for them to pray in the mosque. During Ramadan, they come for taraweh prayers but make so much noise, it negates their reason for being in the mosque.

There should be equality, alot of us women who are outside often attend mosques to pray so if there's little shoe box spaces what are we supposed to do? Alhamdulilah the mosque I go to which is somali run has habaryars on the board, a decent prayer area and empowers sisters to make programs for other muslimahs. There's no excuse in this day and age not to create spaces for women :kodaksmiley:

A women is usually the teacher for her children, so if she's kept in the dark hows her kids gonna turn out :gaasdrink:People forget a mosque isn't only used for prayer, there's halaqas, arabic classes, quran classes, events etc. Women should have spaces to form these gatherings

They work very hard at being accepted don't they. Yet as per the Islamic literature, they still make up the majority of residents in hell:bell:
