From my understanding the government position is until they are nationalised citizens (they would have to go through the application process), they are not considered Somali nationals, but they are automatically granted citizenship once they apply. Am I understanding this correctly ??

if that’s the case, I don’t understand the issue. Somali citizens must be given priority in all matters first !!

NFD and Western Somalia are Somali lands hence all living inside those territories are already Somali citizens. Why is someone from puntland considered a citizen without application whilst someone from western somalia has to apply? All Somalis living in any of the 5 Somali lands are automatically Somali citizens by the fact that they are Somalis living in Somalia

I understand your sentiment sxb, but unfortunately the Somalis in the NFD and Somali Galbeed are part and partial of foreign countries( no matter how much I wish that wasn’t the case), they are not part of Somalia, we’re as Puntland is a member of the commonwealth of the Somali state.

You’re lucky you have soft not so racist Somali clans ruling the country for now. It’s just like how Americans wish for a man like trump to be their leader I wish for Ogaden man or a half Ogaden half Majerteen galti influenced man from Jubaland leading the country because the first thing he would do is build 15ft wall made from pure tungsten 500 yards near the parliament and say no minority is allowed to get passed that wall if they are protesting they can protest from outside of the darbi forget wearing suit and being inside the parliament.
