There are new suburbs started from scratch and few under construction still.



And a new one they're starting called Jazeera

Do you know how much they go for? One of my Uber drivers was Somali and he claimed that property in Muqdisho is ridiculously expensive.

There is indeed many high rise buildings in Mogadishu. The Bakaara market area alone has over 20 high rises (it is like a big town by itself).

Xamar needs more apartments.

More apartments allow for more commercial space to be built around the apartments.

I hope to see more mixed-use developments (apartments with shops and offices ) as well as amenities such as a pool and gym in Xamar.
