To kill someone just because they don't agree with your rule is the shit you expect in North Korea, not anywhere else. You have to remember there are International repercussions of doing that. Somalia was in its infancy, it couldnt afford to become a terror state and receive support.
Caydiid left his post in 1989, if he was a rebel he would have left in 1976 but he stayed in the country, fought in '77 and provided military advise.

How did such a great man arise from life in the bush? MSB was a once in a century hero of the Somali race. He once said, Somalia is a zoo and I was its zookeeper. I used to be offended by this statement, but now I see its timeless wisdom.
