Races as we know them today only started around ~30,000-25,000 years ago. Before that time everyone looked the same.

What is your proof that the majority of arabs werent the same shades of brown as the sudanese arabs?

Firstly, there can be issues with the translation. Secondly, what he means by those colours could not be what you are thinking in your head. Thirdly, it could be poetic/figurative. Overall, not a very reliable source.

PS. Sudanese Arabs are heavily Sub-Saharan African. They are in no way comparable to indigenous Arabs of the peninsula. Apples and oranges. They are Arabized people, not actual Arabs.
