I like your enthusiasm brother, I really do, but the culture is too primitive to have a united Somaliweyn.
By primitive I don't mean in a derogatory sense. We are where England was when the Anglo-Saxons invaded Britannia or where Turkey was when the Kayi tribe (Ottomans) conquered Anatolia.
Those other qabiils who were subjugated into a central rule by the Alpha Qabiil (Anglo-Saxons and Ottomans) turned those regions into empires and eventually nation states.
To have a united Somalia you need a tribe that dominates all other tribes. We don't have that at the moment and quite frankly we won't have that anytime soon. The main tribes are all equally balanced and because its the 21st century, geopolitics is a 24-7 game.
That means any attempt to unite Somalis will not only be met by internal forces sabotaging it but foreign ones as well. Think of nations that benefit from divided Somalis (Ethiopia, Kenya, etc)
Back in the days if Europe had satellites to clue in on what the Ottoman tribe was trying to do they could have salvage the Spice trade and avoided the need to sea travel around Africa by preemptively striking them first.
That's what countries like Ethiopia and Kenya will try to do in a political sense to avoid a strong neighbor.
What I'm trying to say is it will take more than just brainwashing the youth. You still need a tribe that can overpower all others tribes to lead the Somali nation. Then you need them to withstand the foreign pressure to subjugate them. Name me the country and I'll name you the qabiil that was originally in charge and created a nation state.
This 4.5 nonsense is just idling for the inevitable, the balkanization of Somalia which in my opinion has already happened all but in international documents.
This guy knows the reality.
This was England before they united...7 kingdoms with 7 Kings.
Which then turned to four, with Wessex, Merica,East Anglia and Northumbria absorbing the others before the subsequent Danish invasion which shattered their fiefdoms
And we know the rest with Alfred of Wessex and his offspring defeating the Danes whilst absorbing one kingdom at a time before they united England as how we know it today.
From the start of the 7 kingdoms to the unification of England it took 4 centuries. 400 year time period from the 5th century to the 9th century!
The King of Wessex Aethelstan united England over 1100 years ago...our nation in the 21st century is still living in the 5th-10th century nation building process.
If we were left to ourselves it's more than likely after a couple of hundred of years that we would naturally form a cohesive nation state(maybe quicker because of Islam- a unifying force). However, with globalisation, western hegemony and interference, alongside the weakness of the Muslims its looking near down impossible.
The only thing that could unite Somalis quickly is an external force, say for example our two neighbouring states. If either one tries to expand into Somalia it might bring the unity of the Somali people.
Wallahi it's by the mercy of Allah we havent been fully occupied and lost land due to our disunity. But this stalemate won't continue...as you can see already with Ethiopia dying for a port, and Kenya for Jubbaland and its offshore resources.
