@Apollo yes Arabism has fuked our culture somewhat...we went from putting butter on our hair to adopting Arabic scripts and dressing our women like Bedouins. Yet, I don't see how we can directly blame Arabs for this. It's our Sheiks and elders that were the pioneers of the Arabisation of Somalia, no Arab ever came and told us to copy them. Our nomadic culture and weak preservation of history is a big factor too. Ethio highlander monks were able to preserve scripts and culture since the pre-Axumite era and they did it well as they had an advanced and dominant Semetic-Ethiopic culture.
