Any word on when offensive starting ? It’s been couple weeks since laftagareen announced it

I think they are waiting for the president Hassan sheekh. I've heard rumours that the president wants to settle in Baidoa, same way he settled in Dhuusamareeb. And run the phase 2 operations from baidoa. But I think laftagareen has said he won't allow that.

But it should start soon. Bakool operations have already started, but they should start the big operations to liberate Rab Dhuure and Tiyeeglow.

Baay and Shabeelada hoose operations will only begin when west Hiiraan and Middle shabeele have been fully liberated. This is due to if operations start now the army will be ambushed from all sides. Liberating hiiran and middle shabeele will make Baay and Shabeelada hoose operations easier as they won't be attacked from the back.
