$230 million, not $300. It’s been the same amount since Sheikh Shariif’s term.Huuhaa Banaadir provided 300million in taxes. And according to my own and UN predictions the tax revenue from Xamar will reach 400million next year. So tell me you laangaab what does your region contribute to FGS?
I think they settled it a long time ago, there is no point to hold grudges. I don’t think they talked about much.Wonder what they talked about. Maybe they will settle things
Huh the budget including IC aid wasn’t even that amount. Ludicrous claim$230 million, not $300. It’s been the same amount since Sheikh Shariif’s term.
You’re back from your conspiracy cave I see.HSM is completely and utterly controlled by the West, which is why they brought him back. I don't know what they have on him but that is the reality. Anything he does, or doesn't do is on orders.
That is why the west takes him on tours and writes puff pieces about him, they only do that for their puppets.
And @bidenkulaha is desperately trying to promote him and liberalism/western interests openly and failing on here. Likely, not even Somali himself.
Another lad with sub bar reading comprehension. Lets say your 230million is true, then that means FGS took 75% of the taxes Banaadir provided. Which means Banaadir generated 306million in taxes. And it is safe to say that all the money spent in Banaadir directly benefits FGS. All in all 306million is what we provide in taxes but the real amount is much higher.$230 million, not $300. It’s been the same amount since Sheikh Shariif’s term.
Do you know 70% of government's budget is budget support? This argument of banaadir taxes has been overused and is incorrect and false. To begin with, banaadir barely brings in anything, and what it brings is used for Banaadir. There's no single cent taken from banaadir that's given to states, what's given to states is foreign budget support. Sometimes the government from its own federal funds helps states- namely HS and GM the two paper states. So even assuming funds are taken from banaadir they are being given to your states.I'm a rational person, if FGS controls no region directly(it cant according to the constitution), and it controls every region as much indirectly. Everyone finances FGS equally, and FGS solely focuses on financial stability, foreign affairs and military, (note this is what I advocate for). I could care less who leads Somalia it could be a Polynesian.
Unfortunately non Hawiye Somalis seem to demand that FGS directly controls Banaadir so I will advocate for my people to hold FGS in a tight leash and weaponise it to benefit those that it taxes and are its real constituents.
Many countries have states that are capitals. The best politically and regionally equal country, German, has this exact set upDo you know 70% of government's budget is budget support? We are not even talking about the International projects being implemented in mogadishu because its the capital and the fgs base. The local investment, the projects given to mogadishu to host the federal government. Plus all the somalis coming from everywhere to invest because it's the capital.
Yes, FGS will control banaadir directly because it's the capital. Do you expect a state within the capital?
If you don't like how mogadishu is the capital and you want it to be qabiil enclave then let another city host the capital. Yet, whenever discussions about that are brought up, your mps and politicians are the first to cry and wail. Why are you crying if hosting the government is so bad to you? We know what mogadishu was before the federal government and we know what it would be like today if the government left. Best-case scenario it would be like HS and GM.

Internal revenue was only 250 Millions which if we say Mogadishu has 2,5 millions population is nada, Mombasa port in a month has a revenue of nearly 500 million US dollar do your math child and 12 X it. that is without even taxin the average population just from a port.Huuhaa Banaadir provided 300million in taxes. And according to my own and UN predictions the tax revenue from Xamar will reach 400million next year. So tell me you laangaab what does your region contribute to FGS?
I have no time to delve in your fantasies. FGS only receives 86 million in budget support from the International community. Everything else IC provides is used on projects and NGOS throughout the country.Do you know 70% of government's budget is budget support? Ethiopia raises $6bn in tax from a 117 million population. Mogadishu is set to raise $380 million from 3 million people.Another lad with sub bar reading comprehension. But reality is that domestic revenue was 283million and since FGS takes 75% of Xamars money. It generated 377,33 million in tax revenue.

FGS is 2.5 times more effective than the one in Addis. And we have seen what they did to governors showing dissident. Wallee in the future rogue FMS karbaash baa sugaaya.Ethiopia raises $6bn in tax from a 117 million population. Mogadishu is set to raise $380 million from 3 million people.
We’re arguing with a bunch of dopes.

You're so misinformed i don't know where to begin. Your idea of project support is super wrong. However, let me tell you two things - one 229 m is not all from banaadir and two there is something called special projects which one of them is paying the government to meet its obligations like paying salaries. Its not "projects" throughout the country, its money given so the government can operate. To give u a quick example, the operating expenses of the government alone were 330 m in 2021. For the fgs to function it needs that much. Yet direct budget support was 38 m. 38 + 229 is 267 m total. If project support is projects throughout the country and ngos, like you incorrectly presumed, then government wouldn't even function.I have no time to delve in your fantasies. With revenue from Xamar FGS already gathers 80% of its budget. Eedadiina wasee how come you have the audacity to show your face here.
All you can do is cope, FGS receives only 86million in budget support thats a fact your huuhaa xaar means dog shit. Another fact is, no other region than Banaadir pays taxes. Dont delude yourself you have no leg to stand on.You're so misinformed i don't know where to begin. Your idea of project support is super wrong. Anyways, i will make a thread to explain this soon enough. I will show how much banaadir is actually worth without government. Tune in to that.![]()
No, budget support is more than that. What you're referring to is direct budget support from other governments. Most of the grants are in the form of projects from world banks. They are grants in CASH given to fgs they just are called "projects". They are not literal projects like a hospital being built or something. All you can do is cope, FGS receives only 86million in budget support thats a fact your huuhaa xaar means dog shit.
