LOL it’s interesting how SL supporters are now trying to cozy up to Puntlanders. It’s a classic game of divide and conquer they’re trying to play, but they don’t have the intelligence to pull it off. HSM played them and he’s now destroyed any chance of SL recognition. Last yr or the yr before, they were Pro Hawiye and now they’re Pro MJ and can’t stand Mogadishu. Somali politics is fascinating.

Akhi I'm somalilander aswell but you have to wake up and smell the coffee. This is all a delusion. All the FGS has to do now is continue to internally fragment somaliland to ensure that secession is impossible. Imagine if Awdal were to rebel and be declared a FMS? SL would be surrounded on both sides and it's economy would be hit hard. The only thing SL has left is it's relative stability. Other than that, it is not much different to the rest of the country. Within the next 20 years, the SL project will cease to exist but it has served it's purpose, ensuring that northerners remained unharmed from the violence in the south.I never did. Somaliland is only not recognized and still manages to function. Somalia tried taking advantage of the situation in Lascaanood but will they do it long term? History says absolutely not and it will be over in a couple of years.
All the fake states that make up the failed Somalia except for Puntland are run by foreign troops or funded by the UNSOS (SNA doesn't manage the logistics or resources and doesn't pay for a lot of it). Not self-selfstaining in anyway. I don't think they will be allowed to transplant that in Lascaanood so I don't see it how functions.
I think HSM got enough money together to buy time until the elections. Maybe he deosn't even have a long term plan.

Yes you are right, during the Laascaanood conflict, a force of Harti were fighting to liberate SSC from, I remember back then there was a counter to hiil Harti called Irir Samaale or something like that, most Hawiye were either lowkey rooting for SL or directly supporting them through the irir Samaale umbrella, but anyway fast forward to today, some segments of Puntland have become anti Harti and anti SSC, these are mostly Deni supporters and these segment are trying to cozy up to seccesionists Somalilanders who they view as a lessor evil than the muqdisho administration lead by Qoslaye aka HSM. Shows you how dynamic Somali politics is, yesterday's brothers are today's bitter enemies.

It's not a good idea to view pretty simple analysis as some kind of strategic communication.
Just ask why Puntland doesn't even recongize SSC? Is SL responsible for that?
And btw Somalia's main funders view HSM as having gone rogue. No one recognizes his unilateral attempts to label Lascaanood a state and use it as a basis for rigged elections. It won't hamper SL recognition in any way, rather just more example of why state building in Somalia has failed and will accelerate away from One Somalia even faster now. Dont' be suprised if it actually speeds up Somaliland recognition.
Before people talk about China, china offered 1m a year to AUSSOM. The FGS is not worth much to China, let alone eastern Sool.

Waqooyi bari will need Ceerigaabo to be taken seriously. Puntland had the chance but Deni prioritised his aspirations in Xamar over the constituency.
The ball's in Firdiye court . Should he manage to get Ceerigaabo to fly out the waqooyi bari flag I would pledge allegiance to the new state.
I'm reer Ceerigaabo I won't sugarcoat politics we will never accept SL not even after a 100 years of exile and anyone colluding with SL rn including Deni and Sultan Siciid are cadows in my books.
Enough theatrics we need our side of the district govern by us and no one else.

I highly doubt it will speed up SL’s recognition and I’m talking from a non bias perspective since I don’t care if SL becomes its own nation. I don’t believe Northerners should be weighed down by Somalias misfortune, however when you have a % of your population that are within the British SL borders which is what your recognition hinges upon and they want nothing to do with SL and have now managed to forge our a territory within Somalia but albeit a state, it doesn’t look good on SL.
I am being honest here and I see why SL will now and try and forge an understanding with Puntland because if Puntland is very disgruntled and wants to form their own separation from the Somali gov, it makes SL look good and makes Somalia look even more like a circus- but I highly doubt PL’s anger will reach to the point that SL wants. We both know this.
Things aren’t looking good. Your so called ‘Irir’ brother has played you. I found the whole Irir thing pushed by both sides to have been cringe inducing lol.
