Just because the area you hail from are dead (of little economic & strategic importance) doesn’t mean SL is dead. Berbera & the Berbera-Wajaale corridor has received a tremendous amount of investment in the last few years thanks to the DP World deal. It is now the most capable port in the former Somali Republic in a very strategic location with increasing trade with the upcoming African powerhouse of Ethiopia.

The future is bright in my regions. I thank my ancestors for having the foresight to own Berbera and most of coastal SL.

I know all about HA settlement on the coast, from what I've heard certain clan are paying them to stay near Ceel Sheikh they are not even there full time but seasonally, the nearest permanent settlement is further inland.

Lughaya is primarily settled by Mahad 'Ase.

I love your historical revisionism, some of Biarre's favourites held from your clan, including people on the supreme revolutionary council like Silaanyo and PM Egal, and others who stayed in Xamar until the very end like Ali Waraabe and Nuux Taani, unlike General Yusuf Tallan one of the few Samaroon in high ranking military position who saved many lives.
