Not really, a lot of the 'eurotrash' are ex-FOBs who left Europe as soon as they got their passport (sometimes as quick as 5 years).

The secular London Somalis are one of the best diaspora Somalis to hang with. They can be a bit boring and judgemental but they're cool and they're honest people.

The only issue I have is the Salafis in the community. There really is unofficial Sharia police there and they will drag you to the masjid by force and with initimidation for Tuesday duhur prayer if you're seen outside.

You cant live a secular life there in the open. There's little freedom to be yourself. You have to live a double life and live in a non Somali area and also at the same time avoid the Pakistanis and Bangladeshis and revert Jamaicans.

I've seen a hijabi girl become a transformer and take off her hijab as she was going into a shisha spot. The situation there is quite serious and there are secular Somalis there crying for help

Lived in London for 11 years and never seen Sharia police and I've never been dragged into a mosque by force.
