Problem in London and other parts of the UK is that a lot of crime gets under reported and police don’t even bother coming until several days if they don’t deem it “ serious”. They didn’t bother to review the cctv of the man who ran into the barber shop with a large knife until 48 hours. He went on to kill the people on the train. What people see is people smoking cannabis on the streets, open drug attacking and men sexually harassment females. Police can’t even deal with most shoplifting. Murder rates reduction is not the sole indicator of progress on crime. There is a visible rise in homelessness and mentallly ill people in every London borough. Phone theft is a big problem.
Immigration don’t cause these issues. However, one thing I would say is that those people areas full of Hindis and other migrants can sometimes ignore crimes like fly tipping, anti social behaviour and rogue landlord. Cadaans would traditionally report these issues to the police and council once they notice it. Sadly, some ajanabi don’t want to inform on their brothers nor do they see the importance of their areas being free from drug dealing, fly tipping, and simple things like spitting on the streets. IMO ajanabis seem less invested in the cleanliness and overall feel of their community. These kinds of community policing and neighbourhood watches are what made many areas of London feel safer and leafy. The police also did more patrols as they were more of them. Nowadays they spend most of their time in cars, barely interact with communities and a lot of them look unfit.
