About women....

Especially Muslim Somali females.
You all probably know one or a few somali sisters back in school and university who use to wear modest clothes and the hijab and once they completed their degrees done a 360 turn. They became the opposite. No hijab, wearing more tight fitting clothes etc. Why do you think this happens suddenly after finishing their degrees?

Well it is simple isn't it?.

Their degree gives them a confidence boost. They can be financially independent. The world is open to their luxury desiring soul. It could be a temptation to be wild. There is also a certain aspect which is no fault of theirs, of work culture that makes it hard for Hijaabis. They are judged by prospective employers. This is a challenge.

But with your degree, you can always be creative. U can incorporate your modern outfit with a good appropriate none imposing Hijaabi.

Yeah could be challenges in the workplace, education etc being "visibly muslim". But ultimately its desires, if thats their reasoning then they've chosen their desires for wordly things over their desire to follow Gods commandments. Its not exclusive to genders, I know guys who were religious who lost the plot at university too.

I think they were fake to began with, they did it to make their parents happy and not for themselves. They planned it once they get their degree and job they can finally rebel because they're financially independent

It's not about your hijab to be honest when getting a job, I have had many jobs in the past and nobody judged me about my hijab. It's your attitude , selfesteem and how you get along with others.

For farahs who go to University they tend to be susceptible to being atheists. It seems like they lost their Farah DNA. They cross their legs when sitting, crushing their testicles in the process, they stretch their English pronunciation to sound native English speaker & just wander around to oblivion in search of the brain they have unleashed in rigorous university studies.

I agree many Somali men who attend university become atheists or simps 1percent come out normal.

Saed Rageh was talking about this, he said a lot of the gaalos in the West are the kids who grew up in Islamic households and attended university. His argument was that universities promote secularist views which leads to kuffarnimo.

Also a lot of countries/cities in the West discriminate against Muslim women so a lot of girls don't wear it.

Some of them even go to the extent where they marry non muslim men.

I find this scary. Even though I'm a Crazy lady. I'm still aware of my religion and I know my limits.

Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs could be a good explaination to their sudden change.

Their basic needs are met, so they now start asking the big questions about life for the first time in their lives, their beliefs and upbringing. There's nothing wrong with that since Islam encourages us not to be blind followers.

So, I don't think they were faking their beliefs back then. This total turn of their behavior could be as a result of exploring the next phase of their life. Some of these women, later in their lives choose to return to Islam.

Interesting I get what you're saying, you can tie that to their lack of Islamic education also that makes them susceptible to these secularist ideologies especially for muslim females I would say eg: Feminism and the perceived lack of rights for women in Islam due to culture etc, the war on Islam everywhere, not being able to distinguish between islamic and cultural practices?

The amount of somali guys that are athiests are massively, massively over-exaggerated lol I know they exist, I've met one before, but they are a very, very small minority (a couple reddit threads could be anyone, 5 accounts could be run by 1 person). Idk in the UK most somali guys at uni have similar friend groups at and you'll always see them praying - at least jummah or once in a while (regardless if theyre religious or not). For muslim guys in the west, I think the problems they face are more material (lack of resources, status etc) rather than ideological for the most part.

You do realize that if you turn 360 degrees, you end up at the same spot that you started your turning from?

You mean a 180 degrees turn.

Majority of them fall in that category :dzmxmmb:
They struggle to distinguish religion and culture since they are not knowledgeable in Islam.

There might be some women influenced by wordly pursuits too. Although in my opinion, they are a minority.

THEY THINK THEY HAVE made it in the white man's world by having a degree so they must act like a non Muslim girl so they ball out with the clothes and mannerism
Pretty pathetic to sell your soul for the western world that is declining instead of being stead fast for paradise

Maybe it also depends on the course they take too. If it’s more social science or humanities related do you think that would be a factor or do you reckon it’s natural sciences like physics and chemistry?
