It's not just us Diaspora people. Even in the Somali school system they use Arabic or Italian days of the week to teach children.
Go to youtube and see if you can find genuine Somali calendar or days of the week. The answer is it's impossible. Only some random Ajnabi is doing it.
Here's the days of the week in Af maxaa tiri.
- Dimaley - Saturday
- Cadceeda - Sunday
- Hobola - Monday
- Woogley - Tuesday
- Dhabra. - Wednesday
- Dabeyl - Thursday
- Dusa - Friday
Months in Af-maxa tirii Somali:
- Naas - January
- Kodxin - February
- Dirir - March
- Gudba - April
- Xorey - May
- Darabley - June
- Cirir - July
- Cuur - August
- Duugato - September
- Meecaad - October
- Agaali - November
- AfoGaal - December
Edit: You should stop minimizing this,
it's a big problem when a country doesn't teach the days of the week in their native langauge. That's the basics. People like you are a part of the problem watching this happen.
