Von the only structure for countries who experience civil war is federalism. Puntland opted for that as people where evicted from their birth places violently for not belonging to the dominant clans in the place they were residing.

As Somalia was fragmented and each clan residing in their clan dominated areas the only logical solution was the federak structure ensuring the safety of the people and power not being concentrated in one place only.

Thus was the best approach because of the mistrust to start building from bottom to up and then form one entity under federalism.

Von how can you advocate for people return to a place where they were murdered, robbed and injured for the country's power to be concentrated in one city where the rest of the country having to travel to that city for every neccessity like education, health care and jobs while the rest is ignored.

How would you convince the 100000's displaced who found themselves in places where their clans hail from but they have never been to and have caused population explosions to return to the places where they were chased away from?

This forcefullt displaced people would have to build an alternative life. The founding of Puntland was an extension to that.

If and when Puntland operates independently it's to counter the Federal Government's attempt to undermine Puntland.

If the Federal Government behaved LIKE a federal Government and secured development projects for its states, we wouldn't have the problems we are having.

Even the way they are treating Berbera is atrocious, they should have welcomed the deal or found something similar to balance it. How do they expect Somaliland to return to Somalia if they cannot behave responsibly?

Omar Maxamud are dead serious about Garacad and could lead to worries across all Somalia not just Puntland but all Somalia as a whole. That corridor is a real corridor, it has the most livestock in Somalia the central and ethiopian region. Livestock is always more expensive then cheap ass fishes(except lobsters and shark fins of course and certain types of fish), but it's far more expensive then cheap ass vegetables and agriculture. Look how much a camel or sheep costs per head and how much those stupid vegetables cost those farmers produce? Nomads are the richest in Somalia and who-ever has the most nomads is LANDHEERE.

My father has already spoken to my sub sub clan of osman maxamud to base themselves in garacad when it's done and get a slice of it and make sure beesha stays alive in Somalia. I don't think we can convince the omar maxamud to switch from this central/ethiopia policy. They made their decision, it's time all Somalis survive and get plots in garacad and galkacyo. The omar maxamud seem like their dead-set about this shift to the central/ethiopia region. I am not sure if it's cause they see the hawiye trying to steal central-ethiopian markets from Puntland by arguing why travel to Bosaso and waste fuel, when you can come to hobyo. I kinda support it in a way to ensure Puntland continues to dominate the livestock trade.

To dominate the livestock trade will require good relationships with abdi ilay and the ogaden and the darods inside central region. We won't win the hawiye livestock but who cares their not much anyways, they only settle baraxlay till dhusomareeb that's like qardho to garowe for god sakes, how many livestocks can u produce in that tiny place loooooooooooooool.

He clearly doesn't know the power-sharing structure among the maxamud saleban. The only time a clan among maxamud saleban can get power in re-election is two ways. 1. A gun way(abdillahi yusuf). 2. Pray the best candidate is a hawiye stooge or work with the hawiye on the sly to back a stooge or HAGIST trojan horse for the clan who supposed to run Puntland in the next maxamud saleban cycle. That's why it's always bad when you have 'lots' of candidates representing one tribe, it's better to back one firmly only, by having them break up into multiple camps means their getting funded by different funders cause a foreign nation would not back multiple candidates from the same clan ma garatay?

He may back one from dhulbahante or warsangeli or majerten but not within majerten and then look at the parliament structure, the concerns of the regionss, kill the other candidates with slander of being hagist or a centralist or mock his character and say he can't even run his own(high divorce rates) why elect him for puntland ma garatay or mock his political experience and oh they love ali khalif types as they say 'he kills his own people' are u crazy to give him a leadership spot.

Puntland spot isn't secured for maxamud saleban niyahow, it's up for grabs, it's just they navigate the political scene quite well to ensure it stays with them while the other clans and moan or join enemy states because they don't know how to play nice and clean.
