Badhan district is huge, larger than Ceerigabo, and it is 100% Warsangeli with 238K of them. Arap only live in one district of Woqoyie Galbeed namely Hargeisa, they are not comparable. They also live in a big chunk of Bosaso district which is also big. And in half of Ceerigaabo.

Ps. That census is deeply flawed

You speak of the 238k as if it is census Lol. It is all estimations, in fact I would
wager my 1944 British Somaliland chart is more reliable since it was undertaken
by the administration that controlled the protectorate on the ground at that time(
remember in 1944 there was no such thing as Mad Mullah wars the British controlled
the entire Somaliland from corner to corner. All we know for a fact is Ahmed Dhagax
district of Hargeisa is larger than all Warsangeli towns put together.Other things can be speculated though.

Siinay and Half London districts, South West Hargeisa. Arap are big players in Hargeisa.

The UNFPA estimate is much more accurate than the British estimate.
All of Hargeisa district is 959K while Badhan is 238K. I highly doubt there are 238K HY in Hargeisa district let alone Arap.

City size speaks for itself not phony estimations. You don't honestly believe
the village Badhan is 230,000? Lol. If Warsangeli had those numbers they
would have been better represented in either Somaliland, Puntland or Somalia,
the fact is though they don't have those numbers and they know it hence why
they will never be serious political players in Somali politics.

I believe that Sanaag is majority Warsangeli and that Badhan is more densely populated than the rest of Sanaag. When people hear Sanaag, they think Warsangeli, Hiraan they think Xawadle, Lower Juba they think Ogaden. Your clan got lucky in that the British chose Ceerigabo as the capital of the region.

You can see how unpopulated the rest of Sanaag is in this NASA map.

The vast majority of the land in Ceerigabo district is Warsangeli. Ceerigabo is the third largest district in Somalia and it is more than just the town.
The town is what fucking matters. You loose the capital of Ceerigaabo, you loose the district as well and most likely the ownership of Sanaag too. Look at Sool. We lost Laascaanood and nobody talks about Laascaanood district. It's gone. Sool itself is on the verge of fading away.

@Kalshaale Nah. Read carefully it says Habar Yunis (Burao area), 90,000 , Habar Yunis (other areas) 40,000. Total H-Y is 130,000. While Sacad Muuse was 100,000 at that time same size as HJ and Dhulbahante.

Exactly. TGS is forgetting Ceerigaabo is the recognized capital of the entire Sanaag region
not just the district, once you lost that well you lost it. When NGOS and UN agencies come
to Sanaag they go to Ceerigaabo it is where most of the funding is giving to.
