imo i sometimes have hard time understanding reer waqoyi especially when they speak fast.

Northern dialect is the standard because it's superior to all other dialects.

Southerners think every R is substituted with DH in the north. That's not the case, we just know when to use DH and when not to. It's southerners who have trouble with this as they sub every DH sound with R. Also the KH become Q. I'm sure there's a lot more southerners f*ck up as well, but that is all for now.
