The jokes really just write themselves, some somali men (not all) tend be incredibly inscure and possesive towards young somali women to the point they'll bluntly lie to justify their nosy behaviour, harassing innocent girls is one thing but beating them? Let me simplify it rather quickly, for I have got a busy morning.

There are two separate issues at the heart of the conversation:
a) In the dinner encounter, the concern was: if Somali ladies want to go for anjabi men, be selective, and upgrade. It is an opinion derived from observations, with which you may disagree.

b) What we did then, as young men, where the concern was for young boys and girls potentially going rogue in our neighbourhoods, and what we had to do to protect our own against predatory elements, like other similar immigrant communities. At its heart are: school dropouts, drug dealers on street corners, teen pregnancies, and highest recorded abortions in the community.

Good lads and lasses, from wholesome families, with father figures, older brothers, and cousins, to look out for them, are hardly the concern.

Those are the confines of the conversation, but you seem keen on foraging in thought, and deed [you may fill in the rest].
