It’s just a border village with Ethiopia. All these people in this immediate area of buuhoodle district both SL and the buuhoodlians are using Kacaan era weaponry and vehicles. SL actually learned to maintain those kacaan equipment including tanks. Idk if the buhoodlians were able to do the same since they too captured kacaan era heavy weapons after 91. According to economists Soomaliland/Somalia were even better off when warlords were contesting control over Somaalia Italiana than under Afweyne. Democracy under JSL rule resulted in an easternSool population that is better educated under JSL regulated curriculum that will make them think more critically before listening to tribalist politicians and warlords from Somalia Italiana because they understand that nobody suffers harsher blowback than their people if tribalism get so bad that another SNM is forced to liberate the North again they have to once again go through the pain of surrender to democracy under JSL but once they get past that moment of surrender things improve under democracy
