Honestly? If they made it, almost any Old World group could have conquered the Americas. Steel weaponry, in many cases gun powder based weaponry and then killing like half of them just by coughing in their direction. If you have animals like horses to boot it's essentially a horror show for the natives.
ICE is mainly targeting illegal migrants with criminal records but a lot of undocumented law abiding migrants that have been in country for years are getting caught up with them as collateral as they either live near them , with them or associated.
The undocumented migrants make little sense to me there are pathways for them to get legal status or citizenship, it often involves them doing some paperwork and going back to their home country for few months.
I really don't get it though. Is Mexico that bad or unlivable that they don't wont even go back? Even for just a little bit?

I did a quick google search. This makes more sense to me now , they don't want to go back because they fear for their lives.

America is partially responsible for this they fuel the drug/arms demand that creates drug cartels, arms trafficking and the increased militarization at the US-Mexico border just creates organized crime that charge and exploit migrants to smuggle them through.

Most Mexican migrants do indeed come rural areas or urban gheto's/slums, its combination of uneven distribution of wealth and resources sponsored by economic and political agendas to favor the rich and powerful is a major contributor to why millions are left behind and why they see America as the only path for social and economic mobility

The rich really are getting exponentially richer. It's amazing to me how many actors/singers/socialites nowadays are cracking the 1 Billion line in terms of net worth, regardless of whether they own businesses. Used to be unheard of like 15 years ago. You had to be some sort of media tycoon like Oprah to even scratch 500 million+.
I remember Bill Gates consistently being the richest in the world at 50-60 billion for his net worth? Now you have the top 5 all surpassing 140 billion. All of this while the UK outside of London is barely better than Mississippi as an economy. World's becoming a dystopia.
