Now the west will likely not intervene to save the pro russian junta from falling but the question will be then if they would be even able to negotiate with JNIM the same way they negotiated with the Taliban and come to an agreement with them, as unlike the Taliban JNIM doesn't respect international borders and so does some attacks on western allies like Benin, Togo etc. So will JNIM like Taliban moderate a little and accept an islamic emirate made up of burkina faso + mali ( which the west may just accept) or will they continue war to the neighboring countries until an international coalition led by the US intervenes against them
