Jigjiga is Somaliweyns best city

Jigjiga has to be the worst positioned city in Somaliweyn, geographically speaking. It is, firstly, incredibly prone to a full take-over by the Oromos. If civil war breaks out today, and Ethiopia collapses, who do you think the city will fall in the hands? It's too close to Oromos, who have a tendency of claiming and usurping cities, for my liking. Jigjiga is also far too close to Adis Ababa. If the region wants to secede (which must be done by force) how are we suppose to liberate the town? It's geographically semi-mountainous; which, Somalis, generally speaking, with an exception of rare cases, generally perform poorly in terms of fighting.

The only logical choice is to move the capital to a low-land city. Godey, in my opinion, is the perfect city to make the capital of Galbeed. It is not only far away from the Amhara and Oromo, but it also has potential that far surpasses anything Jigjiga can muster. A Galbeed that has Godey as it's capital can easily fend off cowardly Oromos and Amharas, their authority and control was never excepted there. Seceding and breaking off of Ethiopia also becomes much less of a hassle, since Godey isn't too far from Somalia, and they have to properly come in Somali territories, putting them in a large disadvantage.

Instead of talking about Jigjiga on its own merits you are taking sly digs at Xamar I see you saxib, Xamar is always going to be greater than Jigjiga magaalo xor oo nabad ah, capital city.

Oromo do not mess with Ogaden/Absame lands, we have had borders for 700 years, they never step into to, Absame knows how to defend and fight for their land, the ones they threaten are other somalis who do not fight back

Oromo even have a mah mah for Ogaden, "An Oromo boy and an Ogaden boy should never wage war and no outsider shall intermediate for them"

Ogaden/Absame has always fought, you should be worried for the Marehan that have been absorbed and assimilated in Babile by Oromo and their lands robbed because they were stupid with karanley to vote to joint oromia region in 2004 referendum, they voted with their hands to be assimilated

instead of jabbing, Absame can fend for him, go and safe your fellow marehan cousins assimilated and forced to speak Arush dialect

Absame and Ogaden has kept a check on their borders for 700 years, we are proud of our culture and everyone knows we are racist, you need to be in this neighbour to survive, worry about your cousins
