Its honestly shocking, my adeer's used to live in Dir Dhabe during SNM days & would tell me how it used to be vast majority Somali. Amazing how fast demographics change in 35-40 years.

Somalis are still the majority it is just that the statistics that show oromo as a majority claim gurgura as oromo when they are still dir.

They speak affan oromo and somali but still identify as dir.
