I feel sad for the lose of life anywhere (including Somalia) and of course specially Ethiopia. I am not tribalist ape that is happy just because civilians from "enemy tribe" lost lives. The day I lower to that level is the day I would rather die. That is not a life worth living tbh. I am not worried about the country descending into civil war etc. BS. though which many idiots here are wishing for. I am very confident that the federal and local authorities are capable of controlling the situation and bringing law and order back. I am only very saddened by the loss of lives including the young and bright singer. Very sad for all Ethiopians.@xabashi you about to feel what we felt for the last 30 years. Karma is a bítch and she's a pretty Xabashi ting like you.
drop the sauce or it didn't happen.Jawar and his media are accused of agitating and inciting violence. Especially because his clique forcefully took the coffin from the singer's family (while it was heading to the singer's birthplace Ambo) and brought it back to Addis to use it as a political tool to agitate and incite violence. And in the process one oromia police was shot and killed by a bullet that came from the guards of Jawar. This is the accusation and VOA yesterday asked the singer's father and family members who all confirmed that the coffin was forcefully taken from them and brought back to Addis. The security forces then had to intervene and they brought it to his birthplace by helicopter.
Here you have it VOA directly from the family's home in Ambo.drop the sauce or it didn't happen.

i don't speak amharic so i'm going to ignore till it's in a langauge that can understand also i don't in believe in ethiopian media. Here you have it VOA directly from the family's home in Ambo.
Nobody really wants innocent lives to be hurt or harmed. But you can't blame some of them. The imperial scares of Abyssinia still cut deep and our political history is not pretty. Now it's in your own house. The irony of it all is. All this is happening while Somalia is showing signs of reunifying itself. Every dog has it's day. But still I'll never underestimate Ethiopia. But you are on the cusp of civil war however. All the signs are there.
I understand the scares and but also understand that for majority of Ethiopians, the world doesn't involve around Somalia as many Somalis think. We don't make any connection with Somalia when things happen in Ethiopia, good or bad. It is your good right to try and connect events in Ethiopia with Somalia but majority of Ethiopians don't make that kind of connection. So for us what is happening in Ethiopia is just a protest and riot that will and is almost brought under control though it is sad some lives were lost. That is it. For us it has nothing to do with Somalia's current or past politics and Ethiopia under PM Abiy will still continue to help Somalia unite and become a stable country. We are not on the same page I think.

That is all in your head and has nothing to do with reality. Good luck with your virtual reality. In reality Oromo is already ruling Ethiopia and the oromos are not savage genocidal people as you want us to believe. We are fine with Oromo rule.@xabashi the problem is that the Xabash no longer have a demographic advantage, the Oromo are now larger than all of the Xabash put together. If Ethiopia becomes a democracy, it means the end of Xabash political dominance. The trend does not look good either with Oromo, Afar and Somali fertility at 5, 6, and 7 children per woman respectively.
I hope the Oromo do to your people exactly what you have done to all non Xabash for the past 130 years. Good luck keeping your majority in Addis when the Shewa Oromo urbanize.

well ok but the problem of the reason why he was killed and the censorship and shutting down of the internet shows that country hasn't changed much from the TPLF days.VOA is one of the most credible medias. Anyway here you have it also from an Oromo owned credible media quoting the singer's father.
