Day I've lost count, I've still been going to the gym but I forgot to post here so I'll give an update

10 pounds net loss, I assume I've lost more fat than ten pounds but I've gained muscle as well so that's also a factor.

How are you coming along, mate?

What works for me for kCal intake, the good energy for genuine workouts: sorghum, beans, wheat, and lentil.

Adding those to my diet was by the far the most beneficial. With those, I could last 7 rounds of sparring in good form, whereas without them, barely 3 rounds. Something to consider.
Still in a caloric deficit and lost a few more pounds.

Found a good one havent gone there yet to sign up.
Very good; boxing gyms could be intimidating at first, but let not that discourage you, or the people strutting their muscles about, as you will be one of them in a short time, with your height and build. It is the best form of exercise, I find, even if one are not naturally into contact sport.

Have you ever tried jump rope? Great way to start, strengthen your core, and develop a rhythm and coordination.

Actually as a normal person, a newbie at that, nothing beats 3x a week a full body work out. Research has shown that whether you do a bro-split, full-body workout or PPL, the results are the same. Full body workout are the least time consuming. Just make sure you progressively overload and sleep well. Sleep is overlooked.

Yep I'm correctly on a 3 times a week program. Reps of 8-10.

Do it, mate. I find it the best routine of exercise esp. when I wake up, or warm up, and sweat as if on a summer day hike, whilst burning calories, and strengthening the core. You might struggle a bit at first, but once you have got the rhythm, and pattern, it is a flow. Plus it can be done at any time, anywhere even if on holiday.
