Anybody know any history of this? Its apparently a martial art practised in a place called afgooye

I only know what I read on Wikipedia. It sounds like those knight tournaments they used to have in medieval Europe. They've toned it down since the old days though. They don't use real weapons anymore. I think there is footage of it somewhere on YouTube.

Yeah same, saw it on wikipedia too. Its kinda sad to see all these old cultural practices just dying away one by one.
