Saabe and Samaale are the sons of Hiil. Hiil traces his lineage through Xashi all the way to Nuxayeh. When it comes to the folklore there is some truth but which has been diluted with myth. In terms of the Hebrew origins of some Somali clans, it is not impossible but difficult to prove. Somalis didnt always live in Somalia but migrated into Somalia before Islam and displaced local cushitic people who were probably remnants of Kingdom of Punt
Somalis migrated from Arabia all you have to do is research the names of our tribes they have Arab origin, were really ishmaelites.

The several problems with that. Among them are Somali Language and the oral tradition. There more but ill start with them. First, we speak Somali and that we are a nomadic society who did not read and write which is different to arabs. If we are from Arabia, we would be speaking Arabic and have some form writing. Not to mention the Somali Language structure is very different to Arabic despite the loanwords so it could not have originated from Arabic. Also in many Somali abtirsi, waaq keeps on appearing to the point there are sights named after it.

So how do we reconcile this?

The Yibir are full Somali and hail from the older Brother of Samaale, Saabe
the yibir are not saab. they are considered saab today because they group them alongside the aleey and the madhibaan but they are not saab or somaali. yibir were the once rulers of hargaisa.

I think your referring to Bucur Bucayr. Some say he was a magician did rule parts of Northern Somalia until he was defeated by Aw Barkhadle. His name does not sound Jewish but Somali

The Madibaan are Hawiye but were disowned. They are from Gorgaate Hawiye who is 1st born of Hawiye and also Habar Gedir and Abgaal are descended from Gorgaate Hawiye. The Tumal are strange in that their genealogy is vague and are blacksmiths, something alien to Somali Nomads. They could of Jewish origin although they are very secretive people

How can they be rulers of Hargeysa when it was founded in late 19th century.

The Beta Israel, or Falashas claim to be descended from the tribe of Dan

Oral histories in Africa are notoriously bad. Only at times are they correct.

The Beta Israel were not even real religious Jews, but Christians who only followed the old testament and then, later on, were contacted by genuine Jews who heard of them and made them fully Jewish religiously.

You're a complete moron and your sources doesn't subscribe to any bullshit you have said.

Yibir and Madigan which are sab clans once dominated Somaliland but they were displaced by Isaaq nomads from Sanaag during the 13th century. These oral traditions are true which explains why Isaaq clan dominates Somaliland today.

The tribe of Gad is Gadbursi and Samaron is from Mount Samaron and Gate of Samaron as told by Israeli traditions.
