Im a cultural Muslim. Haven't really made a decision yet on whether or not I want to completely leave the deen.

Ex Muslim spaces aren't as fun to hang out it in. These spaces are usually always filled with non somalis. In fact I rarely ever see somali niggas in them. Usually like 1 or two xalimos but that's about it.

The Xsomali reddit is dead ass just a vent space. I try to avoid that place. Honestly I don't think there's an actual Xsomali community IRL. I think a lot of these Xsomalis tend to just assimilate amongst the gaal communities they live around and disappear. The gays probably hang out with each but besides them I think the straight Xsomalis just avoid each other.

I visited once and noticed that there are quite a lot of foreigners, ranging from Pakistanis to Kurdish people & other Black Africans. And some of them are just foreigners from r/exmuslims. I guess they love validation from foreigners lol.

Eh not really I've lurked Xsomalian for years and it's mainly somalis. The foreigners mainly just lurk since technically Xsomalian is the only other major African ex Muslim space. Most of the Africans that interact are usually Sudanese, Ethiopian, and Nigerians.

The apostate is not to be put to death immediately after he falls into apostasy, especially if his apostasy happens because of some doubt that arose. Rather he should be asked to repent and he should be offered the opportunity to return to Islam and resolve his doubts, if he has any doubts.

Ibn Qudaamah said in al-Mughni, 9/18:

The apostate should not be put to death until he has been asked to repent three times. This is the view of the majority of scholars, including ‘Umar, ‘Ali, ‘Ata’, al-Nakhaii, Maalik, al-Thawri, al-Awzaa’i, Ishaaq and others. Because apostasy comes about because of doubt, and cannot be dispelled in an instant. Time should be allowed for the person to rethink the matter.

Brother have you noticed the increasing number of foreigners on the main sub? The other day I saw a post on r/Somalia and quite a lot of foreigners, some Nigerians, some Pakistanis etc. Do these idiots not know their post history is public? All they do is instigate conflict & insult Somalis, shame to see Gaal Somalis agreeing with them. Don't they know the foreigners don't care about them and are insulting them as well? Mods need to do something about it...
