Is there any other way to learn how to speak somali fluently without going back home?

I’m 23 now, and the more I get older the more I feel ashamed of not knowing how to speak somali. Imagine one day being a elder not knowing how to speak somali, that’s utter humiliation in my view. So is there any other way to learn somali without going back home? I try to search some online somali lessons but there ain’t any.

You can learn where ever you're at. Its just much easier if you're back home. If you have family members that speak Somali you could just practice with them. Although that takes discipline to refrain from using English. You can also make friends with some cousins around your age back home. They will gladly call you over whatsapp and you can practice with them without having to go there. I basically had the same problem, I was born in Canada and couldn't speak a lick of Somali. I'm still not 100% fluent but I can hold a decent convo now. Mind you most of what I learn was from my trips back home.
