Somali coastline in the North (Somaliland) and East (Puntland) is not for exploration. it's better left alone, stay away from it.
It's a dry and hot piece of land. one cannot survive there without the modern amenities of air conditioning, cold water etc.
things are made worse by an abundant supply of reptiles and snakes and god knows what of terrible and creepy creatures.

people are not dumb, there is a reason most coastal areas are empty stretches of land, the only reason one would live there is for trade purposes hence why you have every settlement being when trade thrives. Djibouti, Saylac, Berbera, Bosaso, Eyl.
