FGM is undeniable factual , doesn’t matter if it’s committed by women because it’s still something that is happening on our land.

As far as rape goes this is something that has become more and more of an issue in Somalia to the point where Telegram group channels dedicate to rape have been made.

We are still better off than most arab/Muslim countries considering Somalia is basically an anarchist state but we are very quickly spiralling into complete savagery.

Unlike other Arab nations where women are honour killed for breathing too loudly, we Somalis treat our women pretty decently. There are female politicians, girls can go to school, and plenty of women own businesses back home. What do you guys think?

I guess women are immune from accountability, huh.

Somali women are grown adults, no one is forcing them to do anything. Most FGM "brainwashing" is done by women themselves. It is women who call each other "unclean", it is women who mock and spread rumors about each other if they don't undergo circumcision. If most Somali women decided to team up and end the practice, the practice would end.

692 Somali women die for every 100,000 births compared to 16 in Saudi and 72 in Iraq. A better way of proving we are better to our women would be improving these crazy stats, not comparing ourselves to Arabs.
