Is it Lawful to Close the Mosques?

Are there any fatwas on space travel?
Are there any fatwas on AI?
Are there any fatwas on the use of nuclear fission?

After all the religion is complete right?

This thread reeks of concern trolling honestly, I wish we had a slide option.

“If you hear of a disease outbreak in a land, do not go there, and if you are there during an outbreak, then do not flee from it.”

“The afflicted should not be mixed with the healthy.”

“Flee from leprosy like you would flee from a lion.”

"Concern trolling this thread honestly I wish we had a slide option" what does this mean? This sentence makes no sense.

Finally, people are making actual arguments.

In any case, though, the arguments are weak except maybe the one from @Lum.

However, your argument actually helps me. I can see why people at first didn't want to use arguments. The arguments seem weak- except possibly the one from @Lum. If I'm low IQ and I'm such an idiot, why does it seem like there is a lack of arguments for the other side.

Anyways, let me get to the point.

"Are there any fatwas on space travel?
Are there any fatwas on AI?
Are there any fatwas on the use of nuclear fission?"

okay.....
space travel, AI, nuclear fission.....

what is the difference between those things and pandemics? what is the big, big difference between those and pandemics as far as we are concerned?

that argument actually helps my case

let me answer my own question..... all the things you listed are things that didn't exist previously..... pandemics have been around

I concede the argument, you win. Now visit your local mosque and present your findings.

@Omar del Sur address @Lum 's post. No one is trying to die because the masjid was packed with viral people. Stop playing around

Well actually that's the thing- a lot of people are in fact with me.

This actually isn't coming from me- this comes to me from Pakistan. It was a Pakistani source that convinced me of this idea and look at Pakistan

Coronavirus: Pakistan government decision to allow prayers in mosques during Ramadan comes under fire

Pakistan Limits Worshippers At Mosques. Many Worshippers Are Defiant

There are tons and tons of people in Pakistan who are refusing to stop going to the mosque.

I don't know what concern trolling is but I would like to know why scholars of the past didn't say to close the mosques

Who cares if they did or didn't. You can't prevent the afflicted from being mixed since the symptoms are so hard to see early on. I'm definitely not stepping near a mosque right now.

The afflicted should not be mixed with the healthy.”

@Omar del Sur

Did you suggest the book without reading it, or are you disingenuous?

From "Race and Reality:

"Putnam: “I might compare that statement with a recent book written by the president of the American Association of Physical Anthropologists [Coon] in which he presents evidence, and takes the position, that the Negro race is 200,000 years behind the White race on the ladder of evolution.” Smith: “What are some of the findings?” Putnam: “The findings are that there is from every standpoint—from the standpoint of zoology, from the standpoint of anatomy, from the standpoint of anthropology, from the standpoint of psychology—there is no question—the evidence is overwhelming in favor of a difference between the races in those elements which are involved in adaptability to our Western culture"

Btw, that was not the only book you suggested, it literally mentioned brain sizes, the typical go-to book for white nationalists. You claim you don't believe in evolution, but this racist author falsely "infers" all his racist findings on outdated evolutionary extrapolations. Question is, why do you suggest books about it, when you claim you don't believe in it? Seem weird to me.

I don't care about your usual sophistry, but you're irresponsible with this topic.

Firstly, I think you should be more clear with people that you're a male feminist.

Secondly, I already said @Lum might have a point.
Answer this question instead of playing games and ad hominem.

Would you be going to your local mosque if it was offering regular services and people were gathering like usual?

Should a hypothetical mosque near Fukushima be closed because of radiation risk, but I can't find fatwas on it.
Can't argue with these people. They think if their 8th century sheikh couldn't address anything or if a ruling from the sahaba's time didn't talk about it they'll refuse to reason and chug along. The concept of applying cautious reasoning is foreign to them.

ah okay.

Race and Reality was a book where the author was arguing against desegregation in the 60's. You basically never hear their side of the story.

The book isn't really about that kind of science.

The book is mostly discussing segregation versus integration in the 1960's.

The Civil Rights Movement was super, super Jewish and had a Communist agenda.

This man is very knowledgeable. He talks about subjects on the behind the scenes look at Malcom Luther King, how the civil rights movement was just a way to indoctrinate blacks into socialism and how paganism to tied to Hollywood and “Christian “ holidays. His channel’s called is
chronicles of judah. His videos are long but are so good you don’t mind. My only beef is that I think he’s a Hebrew Israelite, but his reasons are more grounded and still has many good observations. I think the Ashkenaz Jews are just white

I think the same thing that KuroLady seems to think and that someone named Lion of Judah apparently thinks.

You give a distorted view of that book. I suppose there is some section where they discuss brain skulls but the book is mostly discussing integration versus segregation.

I think the book is an interesting historical book from the 1960's. No way do I intend to apologize for reading it.

Also, you don't show whether I posted that in recommendations or just what I was reading.

Anyways, it's an interesting book that discusses the integration battle of the 1960's and critiques the contemporary civil rights movement. I like to hear both sides of things.
