I found and got to know him on a Polkadot Ecosystem trading telegram channel.

Telegram is very popular with crypto people as it is more encrypted than Discord.

Initially, I didn't like Telegram, but after installing the Desktop version I now kind of like that program.

I might check out the desktop version now the mobile app was too complicated to use, been using discord for a while now.

When you join a channel on the desktop app, immediately mute the channel so you don't get annoying ping sounds/pop ups, then the desktop version is more enjoyable.

It is not gambling so long as you do not trade on Bitmex with X leverage. Buy well established Crypto as a store of value but be aware its value will always be volatile and shift violently through out the day.
