Check out this website for which cryptocurrency is halal and which ones are haram . They don't list all but most common ones. Stay away from cryptos that deal in loans, interest, Defi, finance etc. Eg. Cryptos like AAVE and Yearn.finance are haram for this reason.I’m genuinely wondering since it’s similar to gambling. BTC is a straightforward cryptocurrency and has been deemed permissible by many scholars (though some do disagree. See this article). It is best understood at this point as a digital asset (as opposed to a currency just yet) and as such delayed delivery/receipt of BTC is permissible. |
