I'm not disproving anything, however, people in the past were way smarter than we give them credit for. They literally have the same brains as us, only difference is that we have better tools. And even then, most people right now aren't smarter than the average person a couple centuries ago, we may have a different skillset due to different ways of living but in general we are not significantly smarter than our ancestors. People say stuff like "But we have phones and stuff" but how many people know how a phone actually works and how to make and design one? People back then could've dissected a body and counted the joints, it is not an easy thing, but some people may have been dedicated enough to do it. Especially scholars who studied science and would have been in contact with bodies. Leonardo da vinci used to dig up graves and research them back in the 1500s so i don't think it's impossible for people in those days.
