That's an exaggeration. Plenty of Somalis can afford mortgages, unless you're specifically talking about London. Other UK cities have more affordable housing cost (relatively speaking), even though they've risen quite a bit recently. Heck, even suburbs of other European capitals and larger cities are still attainable for educated Somalis and families with two working adults (including older Somalis).

Somali famlies have been offered to buy the houses they lived in for a period of time where I live. They don't even need a stable income to buy as it will be covered by the state bank. Very few have taken that offer. While the pakis, chechnyans and others have accepted. Even after some somali sheikhs made a fatwa(heard it not seen it) on how house ownership is crucial for a muslim and is allowed.
You could also save up to buy with no loans but it'll take more time and you'll pay wealth tax both to the municipality and the state on your savings, that you already paid tax on.
Im not familiar with how your country works but Thats seems like heaven compared to here in America. Here you on your own.

Your analogy is based on the interest rates of today. Up until a few years ago, the average mortgage interest rates were below 5% for a long time. Any financial savvy person, or at least with a good financial advisor would've taken out mortgages back then and then locked at a fixed rate. Especially when it became clear that it would steadily increase as the fed kept raising the interest rates. In any case, if/when the economy 'recovers', it will eventually dwindle down from the crazy figures we're seeing now.
As I said in my previous post, most Somalis avoid mortgage due to riba. Which is why you won't come across many Somalis taking out mortgages.

It's great initiative to be given the opportunity to buy out your social housing. But unfortunately very few countries have this type of system. Hopefully Somalis take advantage and acquire their properties before real estate prices becomes exorbitantly high.
Intrest rates are still historically low and from the looks of things. Mortgage rates are not coming down ever. Demand for homes is still there and many people are still purchasing.

True. But some may opt for higher wages while other prefer a tight-knit Muslim community or whatever factor it may be. It all boils down to but what each person value and prioritize.

They've chosen immigration as the hill they're willing to die on. All the Right Wing parties across Europe would immediately lose 90% of their support if Left Wing Parties were strict on immigration. They're shooting themselves in the foot for literally no reason.

The racism in Europe is getting more intense. I believe another Hitler will probably rise in 10-20 years. I don’t know why Somalis are so comfortable setting in Europe. These Europeans accepted us in hopes that somalia will one day be stable and we would go back. This isn’t our permanent home. Either most Somalis are going to be mass deported or killed in the future in Europe because these cadaans are not going to see their nations become nonwhite
