We never really had a chance at nation building. If we split up into autonomous fiefdoms it'll just exacerbate the divisions.
Also it will create more problems than it would solve.
How will we decide on these "state" borders?
You'd just end up with another reason to fight.
Let's start with a single city first and provide basic services to the population and then if we still can't get along we would have built an economy large enough to fund the development of these fiefdoms.
You can't put the cart before the horse.
We don't have the funds to build a single large hospital so how do you plan to build a dozen?
However in a single city it would be cost effective to build one large one instead.
We can also get away with less doctors per capita as long as people don't have to travel for hundreds of miles to get treated.
Galdogob was like a village of few houses in the 90s and today it is the second biggest city in Mudug region after Galkacyo. Some of the ambulances in the video was donated by my cousin (she makes a lot of $). Diaspora plays a vital role in development of Somalia.
The more decentralised Somalia has become the worse the standard of living and development has become.

There really is no argument for decentralization that isn't based off qabyaalad.
Don't go down this rabbit hole.
How in the living hell are you comparing the two without a fair trial period.
When the nation was centralised, we actually had a government.
Now the nation is decentralised you can't just compare. We are still in a civil war!
Decentralised governance offers way more than centralisation of governance.
Or am i wrong he
What was the system they using?.A system like 1950 America is the way to go.
Kkkkkk
Somalia has made no progress since 2006, in fact it's actually far worse in terms of development that in 2006. This includes South Somalia , Puntland and Somaliland, so conflict/shabaab isn't an excuse.
More decentralisation which is what federalism is based off has made the country worse off , the statistics don't lie.[/QUOTE
You still can't compare until the nation is stable. Your statistics are biased and unfair.
Atleast after 9 years of federalism, until then your statistics are wrong.

We don’t have to be divided we can be like America. Central government enacts new reforms, states supervise it, communities/cities implement it. And we would still be united under the starDivided we'll be eaten up like appetizers.
Only United can we fend off the hyenas surrounding us.
You think any of our states could singlehandedly defend itself against Ethiopia or even worse China?
