200k ????AUN to those 200K people![]()
Was it more?200k ????
I thought it was only 10kWas it more?
Honnestly as a Γ¬saaq person(sure, we believe you) i dont think it was 200k because somalia at that time was 5 million
From that somaliland was only 2 million. So i think 50k in total died
Good thing published reports aren't based on thoughts, but actual evidence![]()
Wallahi iam my dad is from arabsiyo but 200k is allot sxb. In the rwanda genocide 500k died and it was all over the world. But nobody spoke about the isaaq genocide?
Most of these mass graves belong to Ogaden who were massacred by SNM.Investigating a genocide in Somaliland
As many as 200,000 people were buried in mass graves in the 1980s under Somali dictator Mohamed Siad Barre.
Most of these mass graves belong to Ogaden who were massacred by SNM.
Its very ironic for SL to ise this and claim theirs.
Refugee camps were targetted by SNM and they were brutaly killed.
ikr, what happened was tragic and I hope it doesn't happen again but 200K is a heavy stretch.Honnestly as a Γ¬saaq person i dont think it was 200k because somalia at that time was 5 million
From that somaliland was only 2 million. So i think 50k in total died
Naah they werent conscripted.50,000 Ogaden from refugee camps in Somaliland were conscripted to fight for Barre and the Kacaan against the Isaaq. Dont try and spin history. You lot were Kacaan loyalists until you were defeated

Naah they werent conscripted.
SNM went and killed women, children and elderly in refugee camps.Refugee camps were deliberatly targetted.
The only Ogaden fighting were those in the SNA in Somalia.Like Axmed Cumar Jess.
Though there was qabil fights that occurred in the bordering country between Isaaq and Ogaden.
Those mass graves are of Ogaden refugees.
What published reports?Similar to others in this thread you're arguing by using your own opinion against published reports. I posted a published record which says 50,000 refugees from Ethiopia were conscripted by Somalia government to fight the Isaaq.
