I was born in Somalia and came here when I was like 6 or 7
I am no longer sure that western values/social development 'should' be universal. What gives me doubt is not the past developments of western values, but the west's insistence that other civilizations follow the trends that it develops. Gay Marriage was unthinkable in the west just 30 years ago, but the West now pushes other civilizations towards the normalization of homosexual relations. Another trend that is now emerging in the west is opposition to animal slaughter. European countries have already begun to outlaw ritual slaughter and will over the next few decades impose higher taxes on real meat and subsidize plant-based meat substitutes. The West will then go out and push other civilizations to stop slaughtering animals.
I am a liberal person, so I am not opposed to individuals making their choices. I am opposed to having a minority of humanity set the moral agenda for the majority. I am also opposed to western agenda setting because I doubt the west's secularism. I think that the West retains a lot of its christian identity. There is no secular justification for allowing two men to sign a marriage contract, and blocking a man and two women from signing a marriage contract. I no longer accept that Western values are universal, I think they are provincial and do not reflect the diversity of the world.

2) what is your dream job ?-- My dream job is to take care of orphans and give them the best life a child could have.
