Interesting. The oromos who come to somaliland aren't good looking for some reason. Its hard to see an oromo maid who's elegant but they all speak somali (some don't even have an accent).

I've seen good looking amharas and tigrays in Ethiopian cafés/restaurant but their somali is poor.

Amharas and Tigrayans in SL?!?!

As far as Oromos in Somalia, they are usually from eastern Oromia and close to the border with DDS. Many of them have spent some time in the Somali region before heading to Somalia, hence some Somali proficiency.

Nowdays Amharas and tigrays do come to somaliland although their population isn't as large as oromos. Most of high end ethiopian restaurants are owned by Tigrays. Many amharas and tigrays work in Ethiopian owned cafés and restaurants.

This female taxi driver whom i thought was oromo is actually tigray. I used to have a good time killing some time in her small coffee shop. I hooked up with one of her tigrayan servers.
