Indonesians are xaasidiin

No Oromo is targeted by mobs, we are civilized.

It's the same with the Amharas who come to the Somali region. As unpopular as their migration to Somali land is and how Amharas have implemented restrictions in their own their region, no Somali target them. At the end of the day, only the reg'l gov't can act with regards to migration policies.

Its worse in Jigjiga Amharas have seeped into every neighborhood , this could never happen in Bahir Dar or Adama we'd get lynched on sight πŸ˜‚

That pisses me off. They are already majority of the Harari (city) urban population, with a significant population in Dir Dhaba. Their next move is Jigjiga. Hopefully, we get a better reg'l gov't that will regulate migration :mjkkk:

This will never happen Oromos work jobs that locals consider demeaning, you'll never see a lamagoodle working in farms, barbershops, car wash, garages etc. Its not even a competition for resources since we're arguably worse off than Oromia.
I've been to Hargeisa back in 2011 as a kid and it's just as you said oromos work jobs somalis don't like. Even the maids were oromos. For now there might not be discrimination but give it time and they will be targeted. Somalia's enemy has changed it's the oromos controlling Ethiopia now not the Habeshas and due to their big population they're going to control Ethiopia for a long time

They're moving fast and are gaining land. Oromos tend to assimilate people near them and claim them as their own. Who knows they might say Cisse are oromos and go for Djibouti instead πŸ˜‚

Buddist locals alongside the national army intentionally committed mass atrocities against them which lead to the deaths of tens of thousands in a short period of time. They were left with no choice but to flee the country, which was part of the agenda since they don't recognize Rohyingas as citizens.

What's worse is that the majority of Burmese supported the army against Rohyingas. Recently, the military took over the country and some people decided to pick up arms and rebel against the junta. The army responded by bombing them and fighting back. Now Burmese are begging the world to support them. It clearly back-fired on them as they've received little support, lol.

May Allah punish those who committed crimes against humanity and those who abided and supported them.
I thought Buddhists were peaceful monks who did Kung fu and stuff

In 1990, my uncle's, their wives and children were deported from Djibouti. and their property was taken, and even
any Somali here, if another tribe lived with him in grazing lands, not even a city, would incite a fight against them and expelled them from his tribe's grazing lands
Don't talk as if Somalis are not xaasidiin

Read the comments! Anti-immigrant sentiment are at all time highs!

Xaasidiin exists amongst all people. We've seen devastating aftermaths from the civil war alone. But regarding grazing land, that's just a continuation of the way geeljires have lived for centuries. Grazing land are viewed more or less as private property.

Yes, but talking as if you are better than these racist Indonesians is weird
Leave grazing lands even in cities. If you do not live in the neighborhood where your tribe lives, you will feel like a foreigner

Yep, people all over the world are done being nice to refugees because they take up resources from locals and usually don't assimilate.

I made a thread about this. Good thing Somalia collapsed in the 90s when the west had a strong "we are the world" attitude.

I think about this often. If Somalia collapsed in 2018 we would’ve been treated worse than Syrians.

Democracies are probably less tolerant than authoritarian states, at least in the 3rd world. Indonesia under Suharto gave refuge to 250k Vietnamese who got purged after the Vietnam War, today despite them being much wealthier they can't do the same with barely a few thousand Rohingya

Indonesia is a diverse state, this doesn't necessarily reflect the whole 270+ million people over there.

Being stateless really is a curse.
They should be given a state on Myanmar land, self autonomy, army and so on. The Myanmar army is losing against the protesters. If there were to be an uprising, the Royhinga should join the Myanmaris against the military junta.
