The roads looked messy in some shots, but that’s mostly due to heavy rains. A proper stormwater drainage system would go a long way , many areas still rely on runoffs.

You're right , they should really keep them in open rangeland-style enclosures like they do with horses, antelopes, and turtles. I’m guessing they don’t do it because they see lions as too dangerous to manage that way.
